The ETH rebound last night was pretty fierce, but when I woke up this morning, it had been pushed back down again.
But honestly, this kind of short-term volatility doesn't really mean much. For an asset of ETH's size, what truly matters isn't those little spikes on the candlestick chart, but its underlying value and the direction the whole industry will take in the coming years.
Unfortunately, not many people really understand this—most people start investing and end up just gambling, so naturally they miss out on the real long-term gains.

Short-term trading is really a breeding ground for retail investors; I saw through it long ago.

You're absolutely right, those short-term fluctuations are really meaningless. I stopped watching the minute-level charts a long time ago—it's too exhausting and makes it easy to get emotional.

Those few short-term spikes are really meaningless. Instead, I’m looking at on-chain data—things like the ETH staking ratio and validator growth are what’s actually worth following.

After all this short-term trading, things are still the same—I've become numb to it. The real money-making opportunities always belong to those who can resist constantly watching the market.

The moment I woke up, I knew it was going to drop. The newbies are going to get rekt again, haha.

There's really nothing interesting about those short-term fluctuations. Well said. I just worry about becoming a gambler myself, staring at the screen every day like an addict.
