A DeFi platform exec just walked back their bold "zero contagion" promise after users called out questionable vault architecture. Turns out that claim wasn't exactly accurate—guess transparency hits different when the community pushes back hard enough.

Another pie just fell from the sky. This time, I only realized it was made of paper after taking a bite.

Uh, this is awkward. "Zero risk" turned into "zero transparency," and as soon as the community got involved, they immediately backed down.

NGL this is just ridiculous. The so-called exec claimed "zero risk" and then immediately tried to shift the blame. Only after the community made a fuss did they change their tune... I've seen this playbook way too many times.
