Feels like 'decentralization' became just another buzzword, doesn't it?

Someone's actually trying to bring crypto back to what it was supposed to be—those cypherpunk ideals that started everything. There's this builder working on Monad who's been vocal about it. Goes by qedk.

His take? Simple. "We need to push crypto forward as a collective movement."

Maybe that's what the space needs right now. Less theater, more substance.

ngl qedk is right, there really are slogans everywhere now, and very few people genuinely want to get things done.

That's right, the word "decentralization" has long been overused. Very few people truly return to the cypherpunk philosophy; most just shout slogans loudly. "Collective movement" sounds good, but what about action?

ngl, qedk is absolutely right about this... but how many people actually do it? Everyone's talking about a collective movement, but in the end, everyone just does their own thing.

Sounds nice, but how many people really care about those original intentions nowadays?

ngl this guy is absolutely right, it's all just hype and concepts now. There are too few people actually doing real work.
