Why does Bittensor (TAO) hold more value than tech giants?

Abstract generation in progress

Bittensor is not an app, it is the blockchain that functions as a decentralized artificial intelligence marketplace. Here's the deal: thousands of AI models compete in real-time to provide the best answer to each question. Only the winner receives a reward in TAO.

Real example: if you ask for the price of Bitcoin tomorrow, 1000 models propose predictions and the most accurate one earns a reward. This way, Bittensor ensures that its collective AI is always the best, without corporate monopolies.

The economy sounds familiar:

  • Maximum supply: 21 million TAO ( like Bitcoin)
  • Current daily issuance: ~7200 TAO for miners and validators
  • No insider unlocks (here is the positive difference)

The trade-off: until the halving ( at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026), there is a lot of selling pressure due to the high daily issuance. After that, that could change.

Summary: it is the next-generation infrastructure for decentralized AI. High technical complexity = high risk, but huge potential. Halving will be a key catalyst.

Do you think the halving drives up the price?
