On December 26th, Jinshi Data reported that according to several Taiwanese media outlets, Ko Wen-je, the chairman of the Taiwan People’s Party, was accused by prosecutors of accepting bribes and embezzling political cash, and has been sued and faces a sentence of 28 years and 6 months.
