Trump said Netanyahu should be pardoned.
Gate News bot message, on June 25 local time, U.S. President Trump posted on his social media platform “Truth Social” to defend Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. Trump compared the lengthy corruption trial of the Israeli leader to a “witch hunt,” a term he has used to describe the criminal cases and legal challenges he faced during the years he lost power.
Trump stated that he and Netanyahu have just gone through hellish ordeals together, fighting against Israel’s long-time enemy, Iran. Trump believes that the charges against Netanyahu should be dropped immediately or he should be pardoned.
