How to Add Your Gate CCard to Google Pay
You can bind your Gate Card, no matter virtual or physical, to your Googel Pay wallet. Then you can use it on any POS machine or online payment where Google Pay is accepted.
- Open Google Pay or Google Wallet App (if you haven’t got the App yet, please download the App from Google Play Store)
- At the bottom, tap “Wallet +”
- Tap “Payment card” - “New credit or debit card”
- Use the camera to capture your card info or enter it manually.
- At the bottom, tap “Save”.
- Read the Issuer Terms and tap “Accept”.
- If you’re asked to verify your payment method, choose an option from the list.
- Find and enter the verification code.
After you add a card, you might find a small transaction on your account from Google Wallet. This transaction checks that your card and account are valid. This transaction will soon disappear and doesn’t affect your balance. The Google Pay transaction via contactless pay will not be applied to the same “contactless payment limit” when you tab your phone via Google Pay wallet, as Google Pay is considered much safer than standard contactless transaction. However, some merchants might have limits on Google Pay that are set on their own. If you encounter restrictions on Google Pay transactions, we suggest you to use physical Gate Card instead.
How to Add Your Gate Card to Apple Pay
Gate Card supports Apple Pay binding. You can add your Gate Card, whether virtual or physical, to your Apple Wallet and use it for secure and convenient payments at any POS machine or online store that accepts Apple Pay.
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the “+” button in the top right corner.
- Select “Debit or Credit Card” and tap “Continue”.
- Use your iPhone’s camera to scan your card details or enter them manually.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and tap “Next”.
- Read and accept the Issuer Terms & Conditions.
- If prompted, complete the verification process by choosing an option from the list.
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS or email.
You might see a small authorization charge from Apple to verify your card, which will disappear shortly and won’t affect your balance. Some merchants may have limits on Apple Pay transactions. If you encounter restrictions, try using your physical Gate Card instead.
