Gate News Nachricht, am 8. April, wie Bloomberg berichtet, versucht Standard Chartered Bank, einen Teil der Geschäfte ihrer mehrheitlich gehaltenen Zodia Custody Ltd. umzustrukturieren und zusammenzuführen. Die Bank plant, den Krypto-verwahrgeschäftsbereich von Zodia in die Abteilungen für Unternehmen und Investmentbanken zu integrieren, die intern ähnliche Dienstleistungen anbieten. Insidern zufolge könnte die Ankündigung zu dem Umstrukturierungsplan noch in diesem Monat veröffentlicht werden. Gemäß den Optionen, die die Standard Chartered Bank in Betracht zieht, wird Zodia Custody weiterhin als eigenständiges Unternehmen für die Bereitstellung von Krypto-Asset-Verwahrsoftware als Service (SaaS) betrieben werden.
